The Territory – wild, untamed, and beautiful. Here’s our tips for for exploring Australia’s red centre.
From Poeppel Corner, we headed North on the Hay River track, before turning west again towards Old ANdado Station and Finke. We briefly returned to the blacktop from Kulgera, before continuing west towards Mulga Park, and the Mann Ranges. A permit is required for this part of the journey. The Surveyor Generals Corner is where the NT and SA border meets the eastern edge of WA.

The Plenty Highway is everything you would expect of an Outback dirt road, it’s a remote relatively flat run through some of the most isolated area’s in the country. It’s a harsh tough landscape and the only thing tougher than the land out here is the people that inhabit it.
